My paintings are created on professional grade gallery canvas' with a 1 and 1/2 inch width. The edges are painted, usually a dark color. This allows for the option to display without a frame.
I use professional grade acrylic paints and a varnish for protecting the surface.
Each painting is wired and ready to hang. The artist's signature, date of completion and title is located on the back of the painting.
I can send additional photos and a video of the painting by request. This often gives you a better view of color and detail.

Inspiration for the painting
The series Outside Looking In is about embracing where I am - particularly Minneapolis, Minnesota. It takes time to adjust to a new city, but I have learned that being an "outsider looking in" has its advantages. I arrive with lots of curiosity and an eagerness to explore. I notice what might not be familiar at first, and that clearly has been the lakes. The water and nature that surrounds these big and small bodies of water have gotten my attention and become a highlight of living here. The change of season in Minneapolis has also been hard to ignore, with snowy winters that contrast with summers that burst with color. "Time For You To Bloom" is inspired by a visit to the Arboretum in Chanhassen, where the grounds are lined with hundreds of varieties of flowers, trees and plants.
